Emergency Plumbing Service is a commercial facilities service company built around accountable response. Since 1986, EPS has helped facility teams protect operations with emergency commercial plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and hot-side equipment service across North and Central Texas.

Our story

EPS began with commercial plumbing and grew around the connected systems that keep a facility operating. A plumbing failure can affect sanitation and customer access. HVAC trouble can disrupt employees, tenants, and temperature-sensitive spaces. Refrigeration problems can put product and uptime at risk. In restaurants and foodservice locations, hot-side equipment can determine whether a kitchen keeps moving.

That operating reality shaped EPS into a coordinated commercial service team. Facilities leaders can bring urgent and planned work to people who understand the site impact, the required trade, the approval path, and the documentation needed to close the work order responsibly.

Our people

Real people are central to the EPS service model. Dispatch listens for the operational consequence behind the request. Field technicians diagnose and communicate what they find. Account and operations teams help keep approvals, updates, documentation, and follow-through connected.

Facilities service becomes personal when someone owns the next step. EPS works to keep each request connected from the first call through field service and closeout, so the customer is not left managing a chain of disconnected handoffs.

How we work

  1. Understand the impact. A real person receives the request and captures the affected location, asset, operating consequence, access needs, and work-order context.
  2. Coordinate the right response. Dispatch connects the request with the appropriate commercial trade and qualified field resource.
  3. Keep stakeholders informed. Site contacts and facilities teams receive meaningful status as diagnosis, approval, and repair decisions develop.
  4. Protect the workflow. Check-in, not-to-exceed limits, quotes, photos, platform updates, and customer requirements remain connected to the service event.
  5. Close with accountability. The record identifies findings, work performed, current operating status, and any approved follow-up.

Service pathways

EPS serves retail and multi-site operators, grocery and supermarkets, restaurants and foodservice, convenience and fuel locations, commercial properties, and light, medium, and heavy industrial facilities. Explore the complete commercial service overview or browse service needs by industry.

Commercial coverage and work-order coordination

EPS supports approved service markets across North and Central Texas, including the Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin and Central Texas, and San Antonio areas. Actual availability depends on the trade, location, scope, urgency, and customer program.

Facilities teams may route work through systems such as ServiceChannel, Corrigo, Verisae, or another required work-order environment. EPS can coordinate acknowledgement, status, approval, service documentation, and closeout within the customer’s required workflow. Platform names describe customer work-order environments and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

Standards, licensing, and careers

Commercial service depends on more than completing a repair. Safe work practices, appropriate licensing, clear field documentation, and responsible communication all contribute to a result the facility team can use. Review the EPS safety, licensing, and quality standards and see how EPS approaches customer success.

EPS is regularly interested in people who want to build a career in commercial service, including apprentices, journeymen, master and responsible master plumbers, HVAC and refrigeration technicians, dispatchers, warehouse and operations team members, and occasional billing and accounts-payable roles.
